World Series of Poker 2008 W$ and FPP Buy-in Terms and Conditions

*WSOP and *World Series of Poker (from now on referred to as the Main Event and/or World Series)

As a PokerStars player, you may be eligible to use W$s or FPPs to buy into a preliminary event at the 2008 World Series of Poker. We refer to this in these Terms and Conditions as "the Event."
Entrants must be 21 years of age to play in the Event. All players will be required to produce proof of age (passport or other valid picture ID). You must be 21 years of age as of ten (10) days prior to the Event in order to use W$s to buy in.
By qualifying online for any of the preliminary events at the *WSOP 2008 organized by the operator of the Internet sites found at www.pokerstars.com ("PokerStars") or by using your W$s or FPPs to buy into the Event, you grant PokerStars the right to use your name and likeness for promotional purposes without further compensation.
You may be required to sign a waiver prior to playing in the World Series of Poker. This waiver may include permission to film and broadcast your participation in the World Series of Poker. You agree to sign any waiver required by the World Series of Poker and/or its broadcast partners (such as ESPN). If you do not sign this waiver, you will not be permitted to play in the WSOP, and will forfeit your entry, without compensation.
All players who use W$s or Frequent Player Points (FPPSs) to buy into WSOP events are required to wear PokerStars logowear exclusively throughout those events.If you are not willing to wear PokerStars gear, please do not sign this Agreement. If you do not sign this Agreement, you have two options:
1. You may keep the 85% of the buy-in that was deposited into your PokerStars account. You will not receive the remaining 15% of the buy-in
2. You may request that PokerStars debits the original 85% of the buy-in that was deposited to your account and restore the FPPs or W$ that you used to purchase the buy-in.
All players who qualify to the Event through Frequent Player Points or any non-cash Qualifier are required to abide by these Terms & Conditions and wear PokerStars branded hat and t-shirt/fleece throughout the Event exclusively. For the purposes of this term 6, the PokerStars branded hat and t-shirt/fleece worn by an entrant must be provided by PokerStars to the entrant for this purpose. The approved branded hat and t-shirt/fleece can be collected from the PokerStars office at the Palms Hotel & Casino. Exact location will be emailed to players prior to event starting.
During the Event, strict rules regarding player behavior will be enforced. These may include penalties, up to and including disqualification, for foul language, abuse of dealers, players or any other person during the Event, or any other behavior that the Event sponsor, in its sole judgment, believes to be detrimental to its conduct of the Event. If you are penalized or disqualified from the Event as a result of any rules infraction, PokerStars assumes no responsibility for your entry, which may be forfeited.
Any entry you purchase using W$s or FPPs is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and non-refundable. Please be certain that you are able and eligible to play prior to registration.
You affirm that the name, email address, postal address, and phone number(s) associated with your PokerStars account are accurate, and agree that the person whose name appears on that account will be the actual person who plays in the Event. Any discrepancy in this may result in disqualification or forfeiture of your Event buy-in.
You will have to register yourself for any preliminary event(s) that you want to play. Once you have purchased the entry with your W$ or FPPs, PokerStars will deposit 85% of the cost of the buyin into your PokerStars account. Once you have provided proof of registration in the event at the PokerStars office in Las Vegas, PokerStars will deposit the remaining 15% of the buyin into your account.
In case of any disputes regarding any terms or conditions contained herein, the decision of PokerStars management is final.
You must sign a hard copy of the Terms and Conditions above in the presence of a PokerStars employee or contractor prior to your play in the Event. All players will be required to show a valid picture ID or passport.
By signing this agreement you agree to all terms and conditions listed above.
