Six VIP Levels

There are six levels in the PokerStars VIP Club, and each is achieved by earning a certain number of VIP Player Points (VPPs) during a month or a year. The first four VIP levels are: BronzeStar, SilverStar, GoldStar and PlatinumStar. These levels are based on your VPP total for the month.

The highest VIP Club levels are Supernova and Supernova Elite. The yearly VPP counter is the basis for reaching these levels. Achieving Supernova or Supernova Elite status opens the door to almost limitless rewards. The VIP levels overview summarizes the monthly and yearly levels.

Monthly VIP Levels

Every PokerStars player automatically begins as a BronzeStar VIP. Rise through the monthly VIP levels by obtaining the required number of VPPs within a calendar month. As soon as you reach a VIP Club level, you will receive all the benefits associated with that level for the rest of the month AND for the whole month that follows.

Your counter of monthly VPPs gets reset at the start of every month. In order to maintain your current VIP Club level, you have to obtain the required number of VPPs within the following month. You can reach a higher VIP Club level by earning a greater number of VPPs.

BronzeStar

You are automatically a BronzeStar VIP from the moment you create an account at PokerStars. This VIP level starts you on the path to increasing benefits and rewards. Play poker and be treated like a VIP!

SilverStar

SilverStar is the next VIP Club level. As a SilverStar VIP, you already qualify for exclusive benefits, and you are on the way to getting even bigger rewards. Just earn 750 VPPs within a calendar month to be a SilverStar.

GoldStar

When you reach GoldStar VIP status, you qualify for substantial rewards, and the finest things in the world of online poker are within reach. You become a GoldStar VIP by earning 3,000 VPPs during one calendar month.

PlatinumStar

The PlatinumStar VIP level is the highest monthly level you can achieve. And the benefits for PlatinumStar VIPs reflect this great accomplishment. You need to earn 7,500 monthly VPPs to be a PlatinumStar VIP.

Yearly VIP Levels

Achieve Supernova and Supernova Elite by accruing the required amount of VPPs over a calendar year. The yearly levels supersede the monthly levels. After earning Supernova or Supernova Elite, you will keep your status through at least the end of February in the following year.

The yearly VPP counter resets on January 1. Your yearly VIP status will be extended in the following year on a month-by-month basis from January through the end of September, provided you continue to earn a certain amount of monthly VPPs. Supernova VIPs must earn 7,500 monthly VPPs to retain their level; Supernova Elite VIPs must earn 50,000. You’re allowed to miss one month of VPP accrual.

To retain a yearly VIP status past October 1, you must have earned a certain number of VPPs within the same calendar year. Supernova VIPs must earn 100,000 VPPs, and Supernova Elite VIPs must earn 1,000,000 VPPs.

Supernova

As a Supernova VIP, you get all the rewards and perks given to the monthly VIP levels, plus a lot more. Supernova VIPs are treated to some of the greatest benefits that PokerStars can provide. Earn 100,000 VPPs in a calendar year to become a Supernova VIP.

Supernova Elite

This is the pinnacle of the VIP Club. You gain access to the biggest and best rewards available to an online poker player, and perks that money just can’t buy. Supernova Elite is the ultimate VIP status, requiring 1,000,000 VPPs in a calendar year.

The values of VIP rewards include the following: VIP Stellar Rewards, VIP Milestone Rewards, Frequent Player Points (FPPs) redeemed at $0.016 each, and entry to the Main Event of the WCOOP. Ongoing monthly rewards are calculated using the monthly average of a player’s expected VIP Stellar Reward earnings during a complete calendar year. Reward value calculations assume a linear rate of earning VPPs. Values shown might not be realized until redemption of FPPs as well as other benefits. FPPs do not have cash value.
