The 2011 World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) has now ended, with millions of dollars played for and scores of new Champions crowned. Keep checking back for the latest news on how you can qualify for the WCOOP in 2012!

WCOOP 2011 Champions and Highlights

The 2011 WCOOP proved to be one of the biggest yet, with more than $47,000,000 paid out over the course of 62 events - smashing the guaranteed prize pool. The Main Event was won by Denmark’s Kallllle, who bested a field of 1,626 other players to take online poker’s most coveted Championship title, plus a huge cheque for $1,260,018. When the final results had been counted, 2FLY2TILT and Big_Nemo emerged at the top of the Player of the Series Leader Board rankings, each taking away live event packages and SCOOP Main Event tickets.

Team PokerStars Pros Noah Boeken and Shane ‘shaniac’ Schleger both won bracelets, and Eugene Katchalov almost took home his second WCOOP title in the 8-Game High Roller tournament, falling just short of the target with a second place finish. The standout Team Pro performance however was from Anders ‘Donald’ Hoyer Berg, who won his third bracelet, amongst several other cash finishes.
