Team PokerStars Pro - Victoria Coren

Victoria Coren
Victoria Coren is a successful writer and TV presenter from London. Her career as a journalist started early when she got the chance to write a weekly newspaper column at the age of just 15. Around the same time, she was taught how to play poker by her older brother and has managed to divide her time between both jobs ever since.
After making several appearances on the seminal Late Night Poker TV show in the UK, Victoria caught the attention of the poker world and has gone on to find great success since. As a regular player on the cash tables at the famous Victoria Casino in London, it was fitting that the biggest tournament win of her career should come on home turf. When the PokerStars.com European Poker Tour came to the venue in 2006, Victoria won the event, beating 397 other players to claim the $941,513 first place prize money.
The win not only marked the first time that a woman had ever captured an EPT title; it also helped Victoria to become one of the highest earning female poker players of all time.
When she isn’t actually playing, Victoria can be found writing a poker column for The Guardian newspaper in the UK and working as a commentator on several TV poker shows. She has also presented programmes for BBC television and radio, and has published several books. In what spare time she does get, Victoria likes cooking, reading and playing games like cribbage and scrabble.
Respected by fans and fellow pros alike, Victoria is undoubtedly one of the most important people in British poker. She is a member of Team PokerStars Pro and plays online using the screen name ‘Vicky Coren’.
