Team PokerStars Pro - Victor Ramdin

Victor Ramdin
Victor Ramdin, a real estate investor and entrepreneur, decided to start playing poker after watching some friend play in a bar in the Bronx, New York. Unlike many players whose poker skills and accomplishments develop over many years, Ramdin quickly became one of the best and most feared players in the world. Though he just started playing a few short years ago, in 2000, his abilities make him seem like a seasoned professional poker player instead of someone fairly new to the game.
Ramdin has won over 2 Million dollars in poker tournaments over the past few years, showing the world what many players already knew about his poker playing abilities. His largest tournament win was at the Foxwoods Casino and Resort, at the World Poker Tour Foxwoods Poker Classic. The win earned him over $1.3 Million in prize money. He also just missed the final table at the 2006 WPT Championship event.
Though few opponents have seen Ramdins other side, he is a family man who makes use of his success to better the lives of many people. Victor is a member of a small group of poker players who travel to Guyana in South America, where he is from, to provide medical care and help for underprivileged and sick children.
Victor has joined Team PokerStars Pro to represent the room at the world's biggest and best live poker tournaments. He continues to compete online at PokerStars as well. If you are up to the challenge, find him online and join the game.
