Welcome to the PokerStars Manual! Here you can learn how to use all the features of the world’s best poker software.

When you launch the PokerStars software, you’ll see the lobby, which contains several drop-down menus, and allows you to find the game or tournament of your choice. Once you find your game, you can sit at the table and play poker. There are also many advanced features for multi-tabling, statistics, and much more.

Download and Create Account

To get started playing at PokerStars, you need to download and install the PokerStars game software on your system. It’s quick and easy to do, with clear instructions every step of the way. Next, you need to create an account, which stores all your contact details. You also get to choose your unique PokerStars User ID and avatar (image).

PokerStars Lobby

The PokerStars Lobby is where you can see all of the games and tournaments that are available for you to play at PokerStars. You can also access the cashier to make deposits and customize your settings using requests and options from basic to advanced. From this menu you will also be able to fund your account, join the games you want, look for players who you know, choose colour schemes, or set up a customized multi-table layout.

Poker Games

There are many poker variants available, including Texas Hold’em (the most popular game), Omaha, Stud and many others. You can play ring (cash) games, tournaments and Sit & Go’s (SNGs). You can even enter satellites to the World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) and to live events like the UK & Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT). Choose your game, select a buy-in, and join the action. You can also practice for free.

The Poker Table

The action truly begins when you take a seat at the table and join a ring game or tourney. You’ll look at the cards, make bets, review recent hands, and keep track of what’s going on. The tables and your gameplay are fully customizable, allowing you to choose your table theme and preferred seat, and check your stats, hand histories and player notes. You can also chat with other players.
