Pot Limit and No Limit games
PokerStars of course also provide a selection of pot-limit and no-limit games ranging from $0.01/$0.02 micro stakes games right up to $200.00/$400.00 for high rollers.
In no-limit poker, players can bet any sum in any round. A player's bet size is only restricted by the sum of money he/she has on to the table. However, the size of the big blind is the minimum bet amount; also, any raise has to be no less than the size of the preceding raise on the same round.
In pot-limit poker, players also can bet any sum as long as it doesn't exceed the pot amount; also, the rules on the minimum bet and minimum raise size that apply to no limit apply to pot limit poker also.
At big-bet poker (pot-limit or no-limit play), if a player seeks to return to a game in which they played earlier, and if they have been absent for less than 30 minutes, then for the purpose of fairness it is still deemed to be part of the same playing session. In such a case, a player must buy-in for at least the sum with which he or she departed from the table with or up to 10% less, in the situation that's all the player has remaining in his or her account.
