Play for Free at PokerStars
It is a good idea to hone your skills and familiarize yourself with the software before playing for real money at PokerStars. Doing so is simple; just follow these steps to play your favorite poker game without risking any money.
Step 1 – Enter Pokerstars Lobby Open up the PokerStars lobby and log into your account. |

| STEP 3 - Locate FREE Play Tables Once you have clicked on the tab indicating which game you wish to play narrow the list of games to only those that are free. Choose the tab that is labeled "Play Money". |

| STEP 4 - Pick a Limit and Start Playing Scroll through the games until you have found a game that you would like to play, double click on it and you will be taken to the table. Note all new Play Money Accounts contain 1,000 play chips. So this means when you start out you have plenty of chips to play at 5/10 or at a 10/20 limit game. |

| STEP 5 - Sitting Down at a Table Click on any of the seats that are open, open seats are clearly denotable by the "Seat Open" text visible on the disc that represents a seat. Click on the available seat you desire and you will be seated at the table and moments from playing some fun poker. |

| STEP 6 - Reloading Your Play Money chips If you ever lose all of your Play Money chips, don't worry, you can get more chips by clicking on the dealer tray. You may get more chips 3 times every hour. |
