Have you ever wondered how the other players are able to have those interesting pictures beside their name while playing at PokerStars? Well here is a quick and easy way to upload your poker image and see your competitors face to face.
The first time you sign up at PokerStars for your PokerStars account, you will have the option to select an image to be displayed to your opponents at the poker table.
- Click Select Image.
- Find the picture or image from a directory on your hard drive. How do I grab a poker image off the Internet?
- Click on the file you choose, and press Open.
- Please wait while the selected image is loaded into memory to display.
- Now simply drag the selection box over the area of the image you wish to display. The small window to the right shows you what image will appear at the table.
- Press OK once you are satisfied with the image in the smaller window.
- Continue with the rest of your registration. Once your image has been screened for suitability, it will show up along with your User ID (nickname) at the tables. If you are unsatisfied with the image you selected during registration and wish to change it (or if you did not select an image during registration), you can do so by clicking Select/Change Image from the Account menu. Select Change Image, and follow the steps outlined above. Click Save when you are finished.
A poker player’s picture, or image, is similar to his or her User ID (nickname) and it is often used to identify him or her to other players at the table. Please choose your image/picture carefully, because you will only be able to change it one time, except in very special circumstances.
