Play Poker for Real Money Using Moneybookers

What is Moneybookers?
Moneybookers is an International electronic wallet that you can maintain in your local currency and fund by transferring funds from your bank account, credit/debit cards or via alternative payment methods available in your country. You can use Moneybookers for secure on-line purchases without worrying about disclosing your credit card information.
In some countries, Moneybookers lets you transfer funds directly from your bank account or credit/debit card, to your PokerStars account, without having to fund your Moneybookers account first. Direct funding options currently available are:

How do I fund the Moneybookers?

How can I make purchases at PokerStars using Moneybookers?
Moneybookers is fully integrated via the PokerStars cashier screen. When you click on "Cashier" and then on "Buy Chips", you will see an option to use Moneybookers. Please click on the "Moneybookers" button and then on the "Deposit" button. The Moneybookers deposit screen will be displayed.
If you do not have an account with Moneybookers please click on "Open an Account" to open a browser window that will guide you through opening a Moneybookers Account and loading it with funds. Once you have opened and funded your Moneybookers account, please follow the instructions for making a deposit using Moneybookers.
If you already have a Moneybookers account and would like to make a deposit at PokerStars, please select the currency of your Moneybookers account to see the equivalent amount of your deposit in your local currency, and then enter the "Charge Amount" in USD. Please also enter a bonus code if you have one, and then click "Submit". A browser window will open up and you will be asked to log into your Moneybookers account. Depending on your country, Moneybookers offers several ways to fund the deposit:
- Pay from your Moneybookers balance, or deposit money into your Moneybookers account, if you do not have sufficient funds
- Pay via bank transfer (which takes 2-3 days)
- Use a credit/debit card
- Use instant banking (e.g. giropay, eNETS, Netpay, Inteligo, P24, Nordea, POLi)
Once you have made your selection, the site will guide you through the remaining steps to transfer the funds to your PokerStars account.
Please keep in mind that you have 10 minutes to complete the transfer. If you exceed this time, the transaction will timeout and any Moneybookers funds you attempted to transfer will be returned back to your Moneybookers account. You will need to start again by selecting Moneybookers from the PokerStars Cashier's Deposit Options screen.
Currently Moneybookers purchase limits are:
- US $10 - minimum purchase
- US $600 - maximum amount to purchase within 24 hours
- US $1,500 - maximum amount to purchase within 7 days
- US $2,000 - maximum amount to purchase within 30 days
What about my cashouts?
You may use your Moneybookers Account to cash out any amount above the deposits that you have made with any other deposit method. You would need to make at least one purchase with Moneybookers to be able to cashout to it.

How do I withdraw money from Moneybookers?

How does the exchange rate conversion work?
If your Moneybookers account is in one of the following currencies, AUD, CAD, DKK, EUR, GBP, NOK, SKK and USD, PokersStars will automatically convert your Moneybookers deposits to USD at no additional cost. PokerStars uses Reuters exchange rates to covert players' funds from local currency to USD.
If your Moneybookers account is not in one of the following currencies, AUD, CAD, DKK, EUR, GBP, NOK, SKK and USD, than Moneybookers will convert your deposit to USD adding a surcharge of 1.3%
What will it cost me to use Moneybookers at PokerStars?
There are no fees for using Moneybookers at PokerStars. Players are responsible for any fees charged by Moneybookers (see Moneybookers Fees).
