What is ePassporte?

FPS is a certified reseller of a virtual Visa product called ePassporte.

How can I make purchases at PokerStars using ePassporte?

ePassporte is fully integrated via the PokerStars cashier screen. When you click on "Cashier" and then on "Buy Chips", you will see an option to use ePassporte. Please click on the "ePassporte" button and then on the "Deposit" button. The ePassporte deposit screen will be displayed.

If you do not have an account with ePassporte please click on "Quick Signup" to open a browser window that will guide you through getting a Visa Virtual Account and loading it with funds. Once you have completed the sign up and initial funding process, please follow the instructions for making a deposit using ePassporte. Please see ePassporte FAQ for an example on how to open and fund an ePassporte Account.

If you already have an ePassporte account and would like to make a deposit at PokerStars using funds from it, please enter "Charge Amount" (as well as the bonus code if you have one) and click on "Submit". A browser window will open up and guide you through transferring funds from your ePassporte account to your PokerStars account. Please keep in mind that you have 10 minutes to complete this transfer. If you exceed this time, the transaction will timeout and any ePassporte funds you attempted to transfer will be returned back to your ePassporte Account. You will need to start again by selecting ePassporte from the PokerStars Cashier's Deposit Options screen. Please see ePassporte FAQ for an example on how to make a purchase at PokerStars using funds from your ePassporte account. Currently ePassporte purchase limits are:

  • US $10 - minimum purchase
  • US $600 - maximum amount to purchase within 24 hours
  • US $1,500 - maximum amount to purchase within 7 days
  • US $2,000 - maximum amount to purchase within 30 days

What about my cashouts?

You may use your ePassporte Account to cash out any amount above the deposits that you have made with any other deposit method. You would need to make at least one purchase with ePassporte to be able to cashout to it.

How do I withdraw money from ePassporte?

Following is a list of money withdrawal alternatives and fees charged by ePassporte:

  • ePassporte Visa Virtual Account Holders may transfer funds directly to a US Bank Account for a flat fee of US$2 per transfer.
  • Non-US bank account holders can request a bank transfer for a fee of US$50.
  • ePassporte Visa Virtual Account Holders who have purchased an ePassporte Visa Card can withdraw funds at millions of Visa and/or PLUS ATM locations worldwide for just US$2 per transaction.

What will it cost me to use ePassporte at PokerStars?

There are no fees for using ePassporte at PokerStars.  Players are responsible for any fees charged by ePassporte (see "How do I fund my ePassporte account?" for ePassporte fees).
