What makes the Pokerstars affiliate scheme the best one for you too join?

  • Credibility. What better site is there to introduce your friends and visitors to? Not only is Pokerstars the biggest site but it has, with good reason, a reputation as the safest, most secure and pleasant site to play poker online. Our integrity is unsurpassed in the business, all player money is securely protected in a leading European bank and our advanced software uses up to date 128-bit digital encryption methods when communicating with our servers. You can rest easy when you send players our way, knowing that they are in the safest hands in the business.
  • Quality. PokerStars boasts more poker tournaments and more cash prizes than any other online poker site. Two World Series of Poker winners in back to back years have qualified on PokerStars. We have literally sent thousands of players to major poker events around the globe. Our support staff, poker room managers and tournament directors are all specialists in their field. As we are the largest poker sites on the Internet, your visitors will have access to the widest range of cash and tournament games.
  • Rewards. We like to reward our affiliates generously. The more active you are as an affiliate, the more we want to reward you. That's why we operate a sliding scale reward scheme. So while you can make a nice amount of welcome extra income from being a small affiliate, some mighty serious rewards are available for those affiliates who become very successful.
  • Community. We at Pokerstars enjoy hosting the most games and the biggest payout tournaments online. We hope that in the future that our spread of games and payouts increase even further. We realize we depend on our great poker community for our success. In helping to promote Pokerstars, you can help in our growth and be a part of the biggest and best online poker community and the most exciting poker games online. Pokerstars is the site that brought the blogger championship freeroll, the World Cup of Poker and many more unique events. We also recognize the importance of giving something back to worthwhile causes so PokerStars led the way in creating tournaments for disaster relief.

How does the affiliate program work?

If you own or run a website or blog you can be an affiliate for PokerStars. We will provide you with marketing banners and links that you can place on your website. Every time a visitor signs up via one of your PokerStars affiliate links, you get credit for them!

What type of marketing materials will we supply you with?

We will supply you with links to banners, which are hosted on our site. This takes the burden of bandwidth off of your site's shoulders and onto ours instead. Additionally, our banners are frequently updated, so you avoid the hassle of changing your banners every month. With Pokerstars own integrated tracking system, you can keep up-to-date on the signs-ups you are generating every day.

How will players / referrals be tracked to my affiliate account?

Once you have been approved as an affiliate, you will be given a copy of the Affiliate Agreement file, a personalized affiliate referral code, and directions on how to make a link on your site using the banners and referral code. When a player signs up for an account on PokerStars through one of your links, they are automatically tracked to you.

What is considered a "sign-up"?

Good question! A player must earn at least 100 Frequent Player Points (FPPs). This typically takes about two hours of real-money play. This minimal requirement is necessary to prevent abuse of the affiliate program by players who would simply open then close a PokerStars account. Note that play money games do not count towards player points, so a sign-up needs to make a real money deposit to make the 100 FPPS necessary for your account to be credited.

How will I be paid?

Affiliate earnings are added straight to your PokerStars account within 10 days of the conclusion of the month in which credits have been earned. These payments can be cashed out using all of our regular financial services, such as Neteller, check and more, or of course you may wish to use your funds to play in our superb selection of games. Note however, there is no requirement for an affiliate to be a poker player; you do not need to play at PokerStars in order to create an account at our site.

What is PokerStars' stance on email marketing or marketing on public forums?

PokerStars does not tolerate unsolicited spam of any type, whether it's via email, forum posts, blog comments etc. We pride ourselves on the reputation of our organization and will not put up with any type of underhand marketing on our behalf. Any reports of affiliate spam should be sent immediately to affiliates@pokerstars.com so that we are able to take prompt action.
