UKIPT - Season 3

The UK & Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT) is the biggest live tournament series in the region, bringing poker action to cities near you. Satellite qualifier tournaments run only at PokerStars, which means you can win your prize package that includes buy-in, hotel and spending money. So you’ll get everything you could possibly need to take your shot at poker glory!

Following the big success of the first two seasons, Season 3 of the UKIPT will again visit the region’s best poker destinations, including Galway, Dublin, Nottingham, and the famous Aspers Casino in Newcastle. The tour then moves to Swansea in Wales for the first time, before Edinburgh and Cork, concluding with a dedicated Grand Final in London, which will sign-off the season in style.

The opening event of Season 3 saw a huge field of 698 runners gather, creating a bumper prize pool of €473,942 in Galway. The new champion was Emmett Mullin from Ireland who pocketed a cool €100,000 for his work, plus the coveted trophy. He beat fellow countryman Ronan Gilligan in the closing stages when his flopped set of three dominated Gilligan’s pocket sevens.
