Russian Poker Series Kiev 2 attracted 322 players to the Main Event, with the best players from around the region, plus PokerStars qualifiers sitting down to battle for a huge prize pool of $718,382. Team PokerStars Pro Alex Kravchenko made a final table appearance, busting in sixth, before Oleg Prokhorov took it down, collecting $182,482 for the win.

Kiev Ukrainian League 2 | 437 players | $233,139.50 prize pool | 1st: Vladimir Mefodichev ($53,029.50)
Kiev’s Kreschatyk Poker Club played host to the second Ukrainian League event on Season 2 of the Russian Poker Series, and 437 players registered for the Main Event. The total prize pool added up to $233,139.50, with 50 places paid. The new champion was Vladimir Mefodichev, who beat Sergej Topchin in the heads-up finale to scoop $53,029.50 in first place prize money.

Kiev Ukrainian League | 382 players | $203,263 prize pool | 1st: Vladislav Tonkih (€51,853)
The Russian Poker Series returned to Kiev for the Ukrainian League event, which attracted 382 players who combined to create a prize pool of over $200,000. The victor was online pro player and Moscow resident Vladislav Tonkih, who beat Victor Levchenko in the heads-up finale. The end came when Bellas’ A-Q crushed Levchenko’s A-3.

Riga | 121 players | €242,000 prize pool | 1st: Sergey Ilyin (€65,324)
Next up on the tour was a trip to Riga in Latvia, where Sergey Ilyin took the down the event for €65,324. He played a solid game that saw him destroy the final table, starting with the chip lead and never looking back. The final hand came when he hit two pair with 2-6, crushing runner-up Sergei Pilyugin’s A-Q.

Kiev | 265 players | $688,215 prize pool | 1st: Garry Tevosov ($180,087)
The first event of the season was held in Kiev and attracted 265 runners. Team Pros Ivan Demidov and Alex Kravchenko came close to winning, busting in 9th and 2nd respectively, but in the end it was Garry Tevosov who came out of top, taking away $180,087 and the prestigious title for the win.
