The Italian Poker Tour (IPT) is the biggest live poker series in the country and is now in its fourth successful season. The IPT visits some of the top poker destinations in Italy like San Remo and Campione, as well as making stops further afield in Nova Gorica in Slovenia, with big money on the line every step of the way.
The opening event of Season 4 is IPT Campione, March 24-28, 2012, and online qualifier tournaments are available now. To find the satellite you want, open the PokerStars lobby, and select ‘Events’, ‘More’ & ‘IPT’.

» Download the free PokerStars software and play your tournament Season 3 of the Italian Poker Tour drew to a close in spectacular style, with the Grand Final held in San Remo in May 2012. The big winner was Davide Biscardi, who was crowned champ and took home €200,000 in first place prize money. Ukrainian player Oleksii Kovalchuk topped the Season 3 Leaderboard after an incredible performance that saw him win two Main Events, in San Remo and Nova Gorica, for combined winnings of €325,000. He wins PokerStars.it sponsorship for Season 4.
Other Main Event winners from IPT Season 3 were Marco Figuccia, who added the IPT Malta title to the one he won in Nova Gorica in Season 2, and Domenico Cordi who took home CHF 898,870 for winning Campione. The third event had a hugely-popular champ, as Italian poker legend Luca Pagano took it down, scooping €210,000 in cash. Danilo Donnini and Anton Karasinsky made up the list of winners, with victories in Campione and Nova Gorica respectively.
