The France Poker Series brings the very best in live poker experiences to France’s hottest poker destinations and beyond.
The France Poker Series (FPS) includes events across the country, including a Grand Final in Paris. It’s your chance to play big money poker alongside legends of the game like Bertrand ‘ElkY’ Grospellier, and you can qualify exclusively with PokerStars satellites.
The opening event of the Second Series of the France Poker Series will take place in the stunning beach resort of Mazagan in Morocco. The tournament is set for the beginning of December 2011, and you can win a prize package that’ll give you everything you need for an incredible poker trip.

The FPS is the France’s No.1 live poker event series and Season 2 looks set to build on the incredible success of Season 1 that saw packed-out tournaments up and down the land. This time, the first stop is in Morocco before further stops at some incredible venues, including an exclusive SnowFest event in Evian and a return to Mazagan in North Africa.
Season 2 will feature a Leader Board competition, where players are awarded points for making the money in France Poker Series tournaments, as well as participating in the events. The winner at season’s end will receive packages to all events of Season 3!

The fourth stop of FPS Season 2 took place in Amneville in the North East of the country. In total 317 players registered for the Main Event, and the top 36 players shared the €304,320 prize pool. UK player Benjamin Dobson took it down, beating Frenchman Guillaume Roiron in the heads-up battle. It was Roiron’s first-ever live tournament after qualifying on PokerStars, and he took home €44,320 for second.

Evian | 296 players | €284,160 prize pool | 1st: Veronika Pavlikova (€70,000)
Evian, on the shore of Lake Geneva in the French Alps, hosted 296 players for the visit of the France Poker Series, creating a total prize pool of €284,160. The big winner was Veronika Pavlikova, who qualified on PokerStars and took home €70,000 for the win. She beat Ludovic Marguerat in the heads-up finale when her A-6 flopped two pair to crush Marguerat’s pair of tens.

Sunfest Mazagan | 305 players | €320,045 prize pool | 1st: Anas Tadini (€80,463)
The first stop of Season 2 of the France Poker Series took place in the Moroccan seaside resort of Mazagan, where 305 players sat down to play for a prize pool of €320,045. France’s Anas Tadini scooped the title and €80,463 in cash, after leading for much of the tournament. He beat Sweden’s Daniel Hogstrom in the final stages to claim his first major tournament win.
