The opening event of Season 2 of the Eureka Poker Tour took place in Zagreb in Croatia at the Golden Sun Casino and Hotel. In all 178 players took part in the Main Event, and 21 places were paid from the €178,000 prize pool. The new champion was Croatian player Alija Filipovic, who became the new champion when he beat Mate Mecs from Hungary in the final hand with A-K versus K-J.
