PokerStars Frequent Player Program

Play poker for prizes

PokerStars reputation as the top online poker site for player promotions and giveaways is not without good reason. Whatever a player’s bankroll may be, they can rest assured that they are increasing they’re FPP credits each time they play on PokerStars. With our Frequent Player Program, each qualifying real money hand a player plays, Frequent Player Points (FPP credits) are earned. Once a player starts accumulating FPP credits there are so many great ways that can put their FPP credits to use. Read on for further information on earning and making use of frequent player points. Also, be sure to visit the PokerStars VIP Club!

How Do Players Earn Frequent Player Points?

Accruing Frequent Player Points is simply done by playing in real money Pokerstars poker games. For every qualifying raked real money poker hand the player plays on PokerStars, they will earn FPP credits. In addition, when the player plays real money Sit & Go tournaments or multi-table poker tournaments that have a tournament fee, they earn FPP credits.

Important Note: FPP credits are distributed at the completion of each hand. So if a player vacates the table before the end of the hand, they may miss out on the FPP( or FPP credits ) for that hand. It’s advisable therefore to click sit out, wait until the next hand begins and then leaves the table, thus ensuring that any FPP credits due are credited.

  1. Earn FPP credits for cash game play

One Frequent Player Point (FPP) is credited for playing in a hand where the rake is:

  • $0.40 for fixed limit poker tables with $1/$2 and lower stakes
  • $0.40 for NL/PL poker tables with blinds of $1/$2 and lower
  • $0.40 for "1-on-1" poker games (this applies only to "1-on-1" tables, not to regular tables which have only two players seated)
  • $1.00 for all other tables

Two FPPs are credited for playing a hand where the rake is:

  • $2.00 for all 6-max tables (please note, this doesn't apply to larger tables where there are only 6 or less active players, it’s only for 6-max tables)
  • $3.00 for all other games.

Three FPP credits are credited for playing a hand where the rake is $5.00.

  1. Earn FPPs for tournament play

Five (5) FPP credits are credited for every $1 in paid tournament fees.

For instance, entering a poker tournament with a $20 buy-in and $2 tournament fee, means each player is credited 10 FPP credits. *Note partial Frequent Player Points get rounded to the closest integer.

In the case of a $5 buy-in Sit & Go poker event having only a $0.50 fee, 3 FPP credits (instead of 2.5) will be credited to every player who participated in that poker tournament.

In the case of a $5 buy-in 4-player Heads-Up Sit & Go poker event having only a $0.25 fee, 1 Frequent Plater Point (instead of 1.25) will be credited to every player who participated in that poker tournament.

Please note that "FreePlay" events do not involve FPP credits. Pokerstars also offer play money game of course, but since these poker games and tournaments are free and therefore have no fee, the PokerStars FPP program does not apply to them.
