PokerStars Caribbean Adventure - Terms and Conditions

The following are the terms and conditions of the “PokerStars Caribbean Adventure” event (the “Event”) which consists of tournaments ("Tournaments") organized by the operator ("PokerStars") of the Internet site found at www.pokerstars.com (the "Site"). Your participation in a Satellite (as defined below) and/or a Tournament shall be deemed to be your complete acceptance of the terms and conditions herein.

1. You may qualify for the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure by:
   1. Winning a cash satellite tournament on the Site
   2. Winning a Frequent Player Point (FPP) satellite tournament on the Site(each of the above satellite tournaments being referred to as "Satellites")
   3. Winning the Tournament Leader Board playoff on the Site
   4. Buying a seat in the main event of the Event
   5. Buying a seat with Frequent Player Points, provided you are a VIP Supernova
   6. Buying a seat with W$, provided you are a PlatinumStar VIP or higher
   7. Receiving a seat as a VIP guest or qualifier
2. All satellites and the Tournaments will be in the form of No Limit Hold 'em tournaments.
3. Entrants must be 18 years of age or of legal age of majority in their jurisdiction (whichever the greater) to play in any Satellite. Players must be 18 or older to play in any of the Tournaments which will be held at the Atlantis Resort and Casino, the Bahamas. You may be asked at any stage to provide to PokerStars or a third party with proof of age and/or identity. All players must be able to present a valid passport or other valid picture ID to verify their age and/or identity. Any player unable to produce such proof of age will be excluded or disqualified from participation in any of the Satellites and Tournaments, without compensation.
4. Employees and relatives of employees of PokerStars and any entities affiliated or related to PokerStars are not eligible to enter any Satellite or Tournament. For these purposes, the term "relative" shall mean spouse, partner, parent, child or sibling.
5. The winner of the Event will receive a free entry (worth €10,600) to the Grand Final of Season 4 of the European Poker Tour to be held in Monte Carlo, Monaco
6. By participating in a satellite of any kind on PokerStars, or in any Tournament, you are deemed to have granted PokerStars the right to use your name, likeness, voice and image in marketing and promotion campaigns in any media whatsoever without further compensation and you expressly waive any claims against PokerStars in this regard.
   
   You further agree to help promote PokerStars and the Site and act as a spokesperson for PokerStars during and after the Event, including, but not limited to, meeting with press and participating in other events conducted by PokerStars.
7. If you have qualified for the Event on the Site and reach the final table of the Event, you are required by PokerStars to wear PokerStars logo clothing at the final table. You hereby agree to do so.
8. All players who qualify through Frequent Player Point satellite tournaments, Tournament Leader Board or other non-cash satellites on the Site, or that have bought in with W$ or FPPs, are required to wear PokerStars logo-wear exclusively throughout the Event.
9. You acknowledge and agree that you will be required to sign a waiver prior to the beginning of and as a condition to you participating in the Event, that includes permission to film and broadcast your participation in the Event.
10. During the Event, strict rules regarding player behavior will be enforced. These may include penalties, up to and including disqualification, for foul language; abuse of dealers, players or any other person during the Event; or any other behavior that PokerStars, in its sole judgment, believes to be detrimental to its conduct of the Events.
11. The first PCA prize package (including $7,800+$200 entry to the Event, $2,000 hotel accommodation, $1,000 spending/travel cash, $1,000 credited to your hotel rooms for meals) you win, whether through a Satellite or in any other way on the Site, is non- transferable and non-exchangeable and cannot be exchanged for money or money's worth. If you win, you must play or forfeit the package. If you win additional packages, they may not be sold or transferred; your PokerStars account will be credited with W$11,000 and $1,000 cash.
12. The person whose name appears on any PokerStars account which wins a package will be deemed to be the person who played and won the Satellite, and that person must attend and play in the Event. In the event that for any reason whatsoever any winning entrant does not take an element of a prize at a time stipulated by PokerStars, then such winning entrant shall be deemed to have forfeited his/her claim to such prize and PokerStars shall not have any obligation to compensate the winning entrant in any way.
13. PokerStars will withhold 3% of the total prize pool of the Event for dealers and floor staff.
14. By entering into a Satellite or a Tournament each entrant agrees to release, discharge and hold harmless PokerStars, their legal representatives, their affiliates, subsidiaries, agencies and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents, from any damages whatsoever, including any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the acceptance of any prizes.
15. PokerStars reserves the right, at any time, to alter these terms and conditions at is sole discretion, including to cancel, modify or suspend a Tournament or Satellite if, in its sole discretion, PokerStars believes that the Satellite or Tournament is not capable of being conducted as specified.
16. When playing in a Satellite you confirm that the name and address which are registered in your PokerStars account are correct and up to date. Any updates needed should be done before participating in the Satellite.
17. Any attempt by a player to alter or duplicate their PokerStars account to become eligible for a Tournament will result in forfeiture of any prize won and may result in the closure of such player's PokerStars account.
18. In the case of disputes in regards to the participation rights, all matters relating to the awarding of the prizes and or the terms and conditions of the Event, the final decision lies with PokerStars’ management, is binding and shall not be subject to review or appeal by an entrant or any third party.
19. All players participating in a Satellite must abide by all PokerStars terms of service requirements as listed at http://www.pokerstars.com/poker/room/tos/, and by PokerStars general tournament terms and conditions listed at http://www.pokerstars.com/poker/tournaments/rules/.
20. These terms and conditions and matters relating hereto shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with Isle of Man law and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Isle of Man courts.
